I grew up in Fairview, Alberta, and went to university in Ottawa. From there I moved to Montreal, then to Boston, and eventually settled in Toronto. I now live in Arizona. I have been married to Jordan Peterson since 1989, and we have two grown children, Mikhaila and Julian.

In 2019 I was diagnosed with collecting duct carcinoma, an extremely rare and aggressive type of cancer. The miraculous recovery brought me to the Catholic Church. I now have a podcast, speaking engagements, and travel with and support my husband. I'm writing a book on my life.
